So I’ve been slow about it (practically stagnant), but there are finally new pictures up of the baby. Just follow the link to the Web Albums, and check them out. Feel free to pester me about new photos in the next few months as Baby Rimes is approaching the all important 6 month mark. She’s actually pretty photogenic, so it’s just a matter of me getting off my duff and getting the pictures up. See if you can guess which shot was her favorite.
Baby Rimes received many wonderful, noisy, battery-eating toys for Christmas. And wouldn’t ya know? She loves to crinkle all the wrapping paper better than any of these intelligence boosting musical toys.
A big thank you to Auntie Steph and Grandpa for the Leapfrog table. We have been singing “bumpy bumpy bumpy” for a week now.
Thank you to Grandma Hume and her Leapfrog overhead toy. The colors are marvelous.
To Grandma and Grandpa Herrman, a huge thank you for the future college fund. While there’s just enough in there now for a hamburger and one textbook, we are looking forward to sending her to college for 4 years.
And thank you to all the great grandparents, cousins, great aunts and uncles for the contributions to the college fund and keeping our baby in the cutest pink outfits imaginable.
We have Christmas pictures! Baby Rimes was such a good girl in her adorable Christmas outfit. She didn’t slobber, drool, spit up, or suck on it at all. And we even managed to get a couple of very cute pictures. Look for your Christmas card in the next week!
There I was, enjoying my cute little drooly princess when all of a sudden, a very loud screaming fest started. She was quite content to giggle and scream quite loudly, so I giggled along with her. I looked down and there they were…. the first little buds of two front teeth. But now the unhappy screaming has begun. She is cranky and irratable and miserable. Soon, soon, soon they will be wonderful baby pearly whites.
Then the real fun can begin….mashed bananas will be my favorite I think.
